Our Employees

Services are provided by employees of Residential Options on site 24 hours per day with a minimum 8 residents to 1 employee ratio. Residents are not without supervision in the group home unless provisions are made by the IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) in the treatment plan.

Direct Support Professionals (DSP) provide treatment plan implementation, monitoring of target symptoms, and education/training in areas of independent living, economic self sufficiency, and community integration.

Residential Site Managers chair the IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) and provide supervision to DSP’s, overall management of group home.

Quality Service Directors (QSD) monitor for service quality and compliance

Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHP) provide therapy and supervise mental health services.

Registered Nurses provide medication oversight, medical assessment/consultation 24 hours a day, and monitor medical symptoms/illness.

All employees complete an initial two week DHS approved Direct Support Person training which includes First Aid, CPR, CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), Basic Health and Safety, Medication Administration, company policy/procedures, Human Rights, Abuse & Neglect, Introduction to Disabilities, personal care giving, vehicle safety, fire safety, etc.
