Challenge Unlimited Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning, Denise Carter, presents the AbilityOne^® Champion Award to Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (MO-District 4).

In an effort to encourage discussion about legislation that positively or negatively impacts what we do here at Challenge Unlimited, and similar organizations, AbilityOne and NISH sponsor a Congressional Fly-in for individuals that represent organizations like Challenge Unlimited to meet with members of Congress. At one of these events Denise Carter (pictured) met with Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler (pictured); over the last year Denise provided Congresswoman Hartzler updates about our work at Fort Leonard Wood, which is a part of the Congresswoman's district. This culminated in Congresswoman Hartzler being awarded the AbilityOne Champion Award for her efforts in working with Denise and Challenge Unlimited.
